How to make simple crunchy mandazis

 Simple crunchy mandazis that can be prepared in just under 20 minutes.

Every time you think of mandazi for breakfast, it’s good to acknowledge that it’s loved by Swahili people who live across the coastal regions of Kenya and Tanzania because it’s delicious and easy to make at the same time.

East Africa has many varieties of mandazis and, there is no restriction on what to add or not on the Ingredients just do you and prepare it any way you want to.

Mandazi is loved in Kenyan households and most families prepare it for breakfast or buy it daily.

Ingredients


Sieve your preferred amount of flour into a bowl to bring out a fine mixture. Mine was 2 150ml cup.

sugar 5o ml or lower.

1 tablespoon of peanut butter and mix well.

1 tablespoonful of margarine, mix well.

150 ml glass of milk, mix well to avoid bumps on the final product.

2 tablespoons of cooking oil.

Leave it to cool for 25 minutes.

Roll the dough, and then cut the shapes that you prefer.

Insert in boiling oil and remove when golden brown.

Put the mandazis to drain the oil as you prepare to snack on the delicious snack.
